Selection process


As you might know, we receive a very high number of applications and we only have a limited number of booths at each of the universities.

Therefore, we need to go through a very thorough selection process where we take into account the following information:

  • Language combination
  • Academic specialisation in conference interpreting
  • Professional experience; and 
  • All additional parameters included in the registration form

The educational and professional profile required varies at every edition and in every booth, as it ultimately depends on the average profile of applicants.

Applications received after the registration deadline are not automatically discarded and might be considered in case of vacancies but applications received before the deadline will always take priority.

We select those participants whose feedback we consider would be more useful to other participants based on the data provided in the registration form, which is our only source of information regarding applicants' education and experience.
